I got this Marble Paper Weight in one the St Jude Runs that I did. These are always great we ran about 50 miles to Peoria, IL from Galesburg. It makes you feel so good helping to raise money for the great children hospitals.

It was divided up in sections of 3 or 5 miles. Some times I would try to run every other one, but I don’t think my total was ever more that 15 miles or so. This would be over the whole day. I can remember running down Main Street in Peoria at the end and how hollow my legs would feel.

We would start out at 5 AM and get there in the evening for a TV show where the money we raised was given the Hospital. I think on average we (just our little group) raised around $10,000 for the children of St Jude Hospital.
