My name is Mick Schaller, and I live in Lake Ridge, VA. I am also the Event Coordinator for the Friends4Michael Foundation (www.friends4michael.org) Marine Corps Marathon running team.

Was wondering whether you guys would put the word out to your membership that I've got slots for this year's MCM for anyone that wants to run but didn't get in during open entry.

The F4M Foundation assists kids and their families who are undergoing treatment for pediatric brain tumors through financial and other quality of life initiatives, and the money we raise at MCM allows us to continue and, in fact, expand these offerings. We've got a low fundraising objective ($500) and rely on the honor principle for fundraising--no high pressure tactics or credit card billing.

One note, because we’re trying to keep expenses down, and we have such a low fundraising objective, we do not cover runners’ travel or hotel expenses.
