Madison Mini-Marathon & 5K reaches 1,000 Participant Mark!
Registration for the Inaugural Running of the Madison Mini-Marathon & 5K (MMM) on Saturday, August 29, 2009 is going very well. The MMM has surpassed 1,000 registered participants. The MMM is only accepting 2,500 registrations

The MMM is thrilled to have the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union as the host location for this event. UW grads or first-timers to Madison will get to experience one of Madison's treasures as our packet pick-up will be in the famous UW Union and our post-race party will be on the UW Memorial Union Terrace on Lake Mendota. Race Highlights

You will begin the Mini-Marathon race near the intersection of Lake Street & Langdon Street. You will then go around the Wisconsin State Capital, State Street and the famous Dane County Farmer's Market, by the Kohl Center, Camp Randall, the Henry Vilas Zoo, the Wisconsin Arboretum and finally along Lake Mendota and University Bay before finishing at the UW Memorial Union.
