Runners and walkers are invited to compete in a unique series of 5K courses featured at four Kentucky State Parks. Take this opportunity to participate in challenging courses with various park terrains. We encourage everyone to participate in the entire series of races. But you can enter the races individually.

The 5k Run and Parade of Flags Walk to honor America's Fallen Heroes starts at Jefferson square, 6th and Jefferson, Louisville, KY. Adults: $25 w/shirt, youth 12-17: $17 w/shirt, Under 12; Free. Additional Individual and Team information is available at www.TheUSflag.com Fees paid by Walkers and Runners will fund Grave Flags and other Programs. Join AVOL (AIDS Volunteer's, Inc.) for the 2010 Red Ribbon Run,
Lexington’s only 8k. The Red Ribbon Run takes place April 3rd at the
Kentucky Horse Park located at 4089 Iron Works Parkway. Registration
begins at 7am on site and the run is at 8am. You may also
pre-register at John's Run Walk Shop (361 South Ashland Avenue) or
online at www.avolky.org. Entry Fee is $20.00 on or before March 19th
and $25.00 after. The first 150 applicants who register will receive
t-shirts. All proceeds benefit AVOL. Walkers are welcome, and this
is a family event.
